Our process
Your project is our passion. From initial briefing to aftercare, we think differently, see clearly, and bring sharp focus to our solutions.
As we work together, you’ll be in close contact with our project managers and design and manufacturing teams. Through meticulous planning and open communication, we create a smooth transition through every stage of the project.
Discovery
From your initial enquiry, we’ll allocate you a dedicated project engineer and estimator. In an initial meeting with your team and designers, they’ll help to fully shape your brief so that our solutions realise the design intent. We’ll continue to work with you to build the specification and show samples where needed, considering every option to solve your brief.
Contract
With the contract awarded, you’ll meet your project manager. They’ll be at your side throughout the entire process, from initial design work through to aftercare. It’s their job to work closely with your team and our in-house craftspeople to build clear lines of communication. To begin the project, we’ll create a detailed plan, which we’ll use to track and monitor progress.
Detailed engineering
Our in-house team of engineers will take the design intent into working production drawings. These will encapsulate all the necessary details for you to understand and approve for manufacture. At this stage, we’ll also present any samples so that the transitions between material elements and finer details are all clear and expected.
Manufacture
When the engineering phase is complete, your project will pass into the safe hands of our production supervisor. They’ll oversee our diverse team of machinists, makers, apprentices, veneerers and finishers, who’ll collectively bring it to life. Along the way, we’ll share progress shots and updates, and you’ll be warmly welcomed to visit and see it for yourselves at any point.
