Apprenticeships
Through our apprenticeships, we’re able to continually develop our workforce, maintaining the world-class standards that we uphold across every project.
We’ll help you to develop your career and yourself. Join us on an apprenticeship in Norfolk and you’ll be taking the first step on a programme that – alongside gaining experience and qualifications – will help you to develop a range of other transferable skills to support your working life.
What will I be doing?
Our Cabinet Making apprenticeships take place in our newly equipped training workshop in Fakenham, where you’ll learn to analyse, prepare, and assemble a range of timbers, man-made boards and other natural materials. While you’re with us, you’ll be learning and working to the latest industry standards, supported by experienced mentors.
Our apprentices also visit Rycotewood Furniture Centre, based at City of Oxford College, for a programme of one-week intensive training blocks. During these visits, you’ll engage in carefully planned skills development projects, covering a range of modern and traditional furniture manufacturing techniques.
How long does it take?
The apprenticeship itself will cover four years, but if you successfully complete this, it will become the first phase of a seven-year learning journey with Norfolk Interiors. After four years, we offer qualified apprentices a permanent role, with the first three years of this being used to hone and develop your skills even further.

How should I apply?
